DigiTees are not silk screen printed apparel.
DigiTees are produced using emergent state-of-the-art textile printing technology in order to offer our customers the highest quality imaging on Tee shirts and other materials. We use DTG (Direct To Garment) Imagery, requiring No Set-Up Charges and No Minimum Order Quantities.
The DigiTee printer is much like your desktop ink-jet printer, only much larger, engineered and constructed to print on objects up to 15” X 54” with specially formulated thermal setting ink.
Because the DigiTee process uses CMYK (process color) plus white it allows for an unlimited number of colors as in a photograph. The white ink allows us to print on color as well as black shirts.
The DigiTee process also offers an improved feel to the touch unlike the usual stiffness experienced with screen printed garments.
This technology offers line resolution from 360 dots per inch to 1,440 dpi. This far exceeds what we have come to expect from screen printed textiles.
DTG Imagery does not replace screen printing. Screen Printing still remains a more economical alternative for orders requiring a limited number of colors and high quantities and we would be pleased to quote you on such orders as well..
